LED Headlights

These low profile LED headlights are superior to the traditional style halogen headlamps and also benefit in many factors over the HID style headlamps. A single LED headlamp can emit roughly 4000+ lumens in the 6000k-6500k color spectrum displaying a crisp bluish white light. The design of these LEDs emulate the beam pattern and proper positioning of OEM halogen style headlights. LED headlamps overall consume less power & energy than HIDs and halogens as well as emit clear crisp light. LEDs are just as bright as HIDs without the startup lag many HIDs experience when first turned on. With most LEDs, a heat sink and cooling fan is integrated into the package of each headlamp to ensure better cooling and also leading to longer life expectancy. These are a direct replacement to motorcycles using standard H7 bulbs.

Description

LED headlights are a more efficient and cleaner alternative to both the HID and halogen headlights with a small carbon footprint. Most LEDs do not require a ballast and are a direct plug-in method to the standard H7 connector. They output a high intensity of light, typically between 2000-5000 lumens with only drawing an amp or so of current. Standard halogens require around 4-4.5 amps each and are a high load to the electrical system. Due to all of the benefits of LED headlights, their costs have been respectively higher compared to HID and halogen headlights, but recently have been on the decline as the technology becomes more common and components becoming cheaper. We offer high output clear LED headlights that make a difference. Enhance your line of sight, make other motorist aware of your position, and improve your motorcycle’s efficiency.

Installation Process

The installation process is fairly simple requiring no tools or modifications to any parts. Estimated duration of the installation is around 10 minutes for two headlights. This process consists of removing the original headlight cap, removing the original headlight, installing the new LED headlight, and then installing the new cap adapter. In the video below a clear demonstration of the installation is performed to help as a guide.

Warning: By switching to an LED setup the headlamps do not burn hot enough to evaporate any moisture caught inside. If the install in done in a moist or relatively humid environment we recommend using an effective method to reduce or prevent moisture which can be found here.

Below are a few variations of motorcycles that use our headlight setup. The setup uses our LED headlight cap adapters and H7 LEDs, which can also be combined as a complete set. This set up can be applied across many different motorcycles. We are constantly developing new cap designs to accommodate more types of motorcycles. Please keep checking in to see if there’s a cap adapter for your motorcycle.

A true plug and play LED headlights for the R6, looks way better and very bright. A year after installing and still running strong. Make sure to buy the adapter caps for clearance. Buy with confidence

Very bright and easy to install. Lights up the road extremely well without blinding other drivers. Paired this with the larger Headlight caps and it’s perfect.

Superb light output, installation was easy if you take your time and watch Arnez’s YouTube video first. Just a cool guy and very pleasant to deal behind this who’s passionate about bikes and his neat projects! Look him up!

Caps are on pricier side but well worth it considering a lot of resources go into starting this up.

Why not spend a few bucks that’d guarantee a lot more visibility out on the road?! Probably one of the best and most functional mods you can do!
